Challenge Response

Ahem, my contribution (in quotes):

“It happens that during the course of my day I may chance to look in a mirror, oh–three or four times, on average?

And when I do, I see a kind of deep darkness in my eyes, more than just their colour, that I have seen in both my mother and father before me.

Invariably, my lips will part and bend upwards.”

SLEEP TIGHT, KIDS!

Wow, I knew people could get that, but I thought it was usually because one eye had been damaged, like what happened to David Bowie. That’s pretty cool πŸ™‚
In other news I suppose I should come clean and say that what I meant to say with the challenge was that the ‘darkness’ in my eyes is a metaphorical one (though both I and my parents have very dark eyes) relating to certain personality traits that run in the family, and sometimes I enjoy that darkness. I guess karma’s caught up with me!

We inherit characteristics and ways that make us who we are, ourselves, and only imperfect and that is priceless! Much light to you
